Job Description:

We're seeking a bright and energetic individual to join as our Receptionist/Operations Associate of our NYC headquarters. In this highly visible role, you will perform receptionist responsibilities, in addition to contributing to a productive and smooth day regarding office operations, business performance, and the morale of the office employees. It is your duty to establish office systems, policies, and efficient office procedures. This position is not limited to administrative tasks, but offers and encourages the potential for ownership and greater responsibilities within the Company.

This position is ideal for a recent grad looking to step in and grow in the professional world, and interested in working for an Internet company in a start-up environment.   • Monitor main reception desk; greet and seat guests
  • Coordinate all office purchases and maintain inventory (ordering office & kitchen supplies, including ordering and set up food items and executive breakfast)
  • Consult with and assist Health and Wellness Director and CEO Executive Assistant on a daily basis
  • Maintain office management and food budget & provide spending updates to manager
  • Maintain vendor files
  • Liaise with Accounts Payable
  • Liaise with building management
  • Shipping & receiving
  • Oversee the overall maintenance and cleanliness of office, kitchen, conference rooms and front desk area (tidiness of rooms, fresh fruit, snacks, dishwasher)
  • Play a leadership role in planning and organizing social events for Next Jump employees
  • Implement policies and procedures that contribute to the flow of the work day
  • Flexibility in working on various misc projects across the Company
