About the Event
Two days after Giving Tuesday, we’re bringing the community together for Giving Thursday — a night of friendly competition, great food, and collective impact.
Join us for one of our most popular events of the year: a charity poker tournament held in support of these non-profits:
Venezuelan & Immigrant Aid (VIA) - legal & emotional support, English classes, humanitarian, community networks
Greenwich Village Chelsea Chamber of Commerce - Supports business & leadership in the Village, Chelsea, SoHo, NoHo, Union Square & Flatiron
Start Small Think Big - Supports 3,000+ small businesses, focused on underserved areas
PS11 Afterschool Program - Serves ~300 kids/day; ~50% receive scholarships. Local here in Chelsea
United Voices 4 Peace - Women-led global peace & arts nonprofit. Produces UN-level music programs
$100 buy-in gets you chips to play ($20,000+ prize pool)
Winners split their prize: half to non-profits, half to keep

About First Thursdays
First Thursdays are our signature monthly gatherings—each one centered around a different theme, but always designed to spark meaningful connections across industries. Past evenings have featured AI x Food, Dancers & the Chefs, and a film premiere from an Oscar-winning director.
Expect a curated crowd, exceptional conversation, and Michelin-level dining from our Chef Coalition of world-class culinary talent.
NEW - CEO HAPPY HOUR (10AM - 1PM Fridays after First Thursday): After a smashing inaugural session, we’ll be opening up Friday after First Thursday as a time to connect, reflect, and brainstorm in pairs while we clean up together (a ritual we also do as Next Jumpers). All leftovers from Thursday will be saved for those who join on Friday.
