Next Jump HR Technology Privacy Policy

Next Jump's products are built from the ground up to promote psychological safety within organizations. Next Jump ("us", "we", or "our") does this by incorporating security and privacy into the development of our HR Technology. This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our HR Technology and the choices you have associated with that data. We value your trust and take our privacy obligations seriously.

Our HR Technology connects you with other employees and creates a distributed platform for collecting feedback, recognizing good behaviors, making hiring decisions, and more. Your data is used to create this employee network and provide these services.

Information Collection And Use

We collect several different types of information for various purposes to provide and improve our HR Technology.

Types of Data Collected

Personal Data

Next Jump will collect and process your Personal Information only as instructed or permitted by our client (the employer) or you. While using our HR Technology, we may ask you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify you. Personally identifiable information may include, but is not limited to:

  • Email Address

  • First Name and Last Name

  • Profile photo

  • Cookies and Usage Data

Usage Data

While using our HR Technology with a mobile device, we may collect certain information automatically, including, but not limited to, the type of mobile device you use, your mobile device unique ID, the IP address of your mobile device, your mobile operating system, the type of mobile Internet browser you use, unique device identifiers and other diagnostic data ("Usage Data").

Tracking & Cookies Data

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to track the activity on our HR Technology and hold certain information. We use cookies to provide you with the best experience while using the Program, to manage your browser sessions and to power the Program's functionality. Cookies allow you to use all of the Program's functions as designed. Disabling cookies will limit functionality of the Program and significantly degrade the user experience.

Cookies are files with small amount of data which may include an anonymous unique identifier. Cookies are sent to your browser from a website and stored on your device. Tracking technologies also used are beacons, tags, and scripts to collect and track information and to improve and analyze our Service.

Most web browsers are set to accept cookies by default. If you prefer, you can usually remove or reject browser cookies through the settings on your browser or device. Keep in mind, though, that removing or rejecting cookies could affect the availability and functionality of our services.

Next Jump uses the collected data for various purposes:

  • To personalize the services

  • To enhance the safety and security of our products and services

  • To verify your identity and prevent fraud or other unauthorized or illegal activity

  • To enforce our Terms of Service and other usage policies

Sharing Of Data

Next Jump shares your Personal Information only as instructed or permitted by our client (the employer) or you. Cases where we share your personal information:

  • Your Personal Information is shared only with other employees in your organization to create employee directories, profile pages, interactive dashboards and services

  • Your Personal Information is shared with your employer to create reports and enable administrative tools

  • Your aggregated and anonymized data may be shared with 3rd parties for benchmarking, tracking, and analysis

To safeguard your privacy and protect your identity while using Next Jump's anonymous HR Technology, your identity will not be revealed unless we believe in good faith that it is required due to legal, moral, or ethical reasons (ÒDisclosure of DataÓ) as described in the Terms of Use. To create psychological safety, if your identity is ever disclosed, you will be notified.

Transfer Of Data

Your information, including Personal Data, may be transferred to Ñ and maintained on Ñ computers located outside of your state, province, country or other governmental jurisdiction where the data protection laws may differ than those from your jurisdiction.

If you are located outside United States and choose to provide information to us, please note that we transfer the data, including Personal Data, to United States and process it there.

Your consent to this Privacy Policy followed by your submission of such information represents your agreement to that transfer.

Next Jump will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy and no transfer of your Personal Data will take place to an organization or a country unless there are adequate controls in place including the security of your data and other personal information.

Your Personal Data may be transferred outside of your country of origin. We will store your Personal Data on servers located in the United States of America.

Next Jump complies with the U.S.-EU Privacy Shield Framework Principles, including the Supplemental Principles as set forth by the U.S. Department of Commerce (collectively, the "Principles"). Next Jump has certified that it adheres to the Principles with respect to its services and certain Personal Data transferred from the European Union ("EU") to Next Jump in the United States ("U.S."). Your Personal Data may be shared outside of the Next Jump group as stated in the 'Information We Share' section above. Where we work with service providers, your Personal Data may be transferred to countries outside of the European Economic Area which do not have equivalent standards of data protection under their legislation and on these occasions, we take other steps to protect the data as required under European data protection laws. The steps we take may include the use of European Model Clause contracts and (where relevant to our suppliers) the US-EU Privacy Shield

U.S. Federal Trade Commission Jurisdiction

Next Jump's commitments under the Principles are subject to the jurisdiction and enforcement and investigatory authority of the United States Federal Trade Commission.

Disclosure Of Data

Next Jump may disclose your Personal Data in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to:

  • To comply with a legal obligation

  • To protect and defend the rights or property of Next Jump

  • To prevent or investigate possible wrongdoing

  • To protect the personal safety of users of the HR Technology or the public

  • To protect against legal liability

Security Of Data

The security of your Personal Information is critical to Next Jump. Without security, there cannot be privacy. We take strong measures to safeguard your Personal Data including:

  • Encryption in transit. All of our webservices only accept TLS encrypted traffic

  • Regular penetration testing

  • Infrastructure security and threat detection

Controls Of Data

As a user of Next Jump's HR technology, we want you to be in control of your data. You can access or edit most of the basic information about yourself right within our apps. Any information you wish to obtain that's not available within the app can be downloaded in portable format by requesting through our support team.

Any abusive or false Personal Information can be reported directly within our apps for review.

You are also able to opt out of any emails or push notifications trigged by our HR Technology.

Service Providers

We may employ third party companies and individuals to facilitate our Service ("Service Providers"), to provide the Service on our behalf, to perform Service-related services or to assist us in analyzing how our Service is used.

These third parties have access to your Personal Data only to perform these tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.

Analytics

We may use third-party Service Providers to monitor and analyze the use of our Service.

Firebase

Firebase is analytics service provided by Google Inc.

Children's Privacy

Our services are not intended forÑand we don't direct them toÑanyone under 13. And that's why we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. In addition, we may limit how we collect, use, and store some of the information of EU users between 13 and 16. In some cases, this means we will be unable to provide certain functionality to these users. If we need to rely on consent as a legal basis for processing your information and your country requires consent from a parent, we may require your parent's consent before we collect and use that information.

Changes To This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.

We will let you know via email and/or a prominent notice on our Service, prior to the change becoming effective and update the "effective date" at the top of this Privacy Policy.
