About the Event

For our June First Thursday, we’re teaming up with Moving For Life to bring you a Body-Mind Fitness Fair packed with ways to get moving and feel good!

We’re excited to team up with founder & director of Moving for life, Dr. Martha Eddy, whose work focuses on somatic movement—gentle, mindful exercises that help you tune into your body, release tension, and move with more ease, all alongside our usual high-energy favorites. We’ll kick off at 5:30 PM, and here's a taste of what to expect:

  • Mat Pilates & Pilates reformers

  • Indoor & outdoor somatic based yoga

  • Targeted somatic movement (focused on back, foot, shoulder, or neck relief + ergonomic tips)

  • Emotional wellness sessions

  • And more!

And because Moving For Life was founded to support cancer survivors, we’re also serving up a menu of delicious, healthy, anti-cancer dishes from Chef Dani Chavez Bello, Michelin-starred chef and a master of “food as medicine”.

About Moving For Life

About First Thursdays:

On the 1st Thursday of each month, we host an evening for our community of high achievers, who are also "good from within". Our intent is to create a “modern day blue zone” where we tackle big challenges, share insights, & build community—all over exceptional food.

We provide the space, Michelin-level food, drinks, music & staff, including the best bartender and DJ in NYC. We don’t charge for entry but occasionally we support causes we care about. We’ve hosted extraordinary events, including:

  • Misbelief book launch with Dan Ariely

  • A panel with Mindy Grossman, former CEO of WW International

  • A collaboration featuring five professional ballerinas and a Grammy-winning violinist

  • The Invisible Extinction movie premiere with microbiome experts Martin Blaser & Gloria Dominguez-Bello

Bottom line, we always have an exciting mix of accomplished people to meet, learn & have fun with for the evening!
