Theme: Conflict, Calm & Connection
Conflict at work doesn't just live in the conversation — it lives in the body. Tight shoulders, shallow breath, racing thoughts. This month we're trying something different: a morning that brings mind and body together, pairing practical frameworks for workplace conflict with a guided breathwork and movement session.
Two practitioners. One integrated experience. Tools you can use the moment you walk back into the office.
Please come dressed in casual or active wear — you'll want to be comfortable for the movement session.
Talk 1: Conflict Resolution in the Workplace Alicia Dunams Hopkins, Author & TEDx Speaker
Alicia will share practical tools for navigating and mediating workplace conflict — whether leader-to-employee or peer-to-peer. Expect frameworks on common conflict triggers, active listening, mediation techniques, and moving from conflict toward constructive solutions.
Alicia is an award-winning author and keynote speaker specialising in emotional intelligence, mindful communication, and leadership. She is the author of How to Talk to Your Enemies (Silver Medal, Living Now Book Awards; Stevie® Award winner) and has worked with London Business School, California Bank & Trust, Jam City, WISS, and Tony Robbins Companies.
Session 2: Breathwork, Sound & Movement Adrian del Arroyo, Choreographer & Artistic Director
Adrian will lead a 45-minute live session combining breathwork, sound bath, and light stretching — designed to help you integrate what you've learned, regulate your nervous system, and leave the morning grounded and energised.
Adrian is an award-winning choreographer and artistic director, classically trained at the Spanish National Conservatoire of Ballet with a contemporary dance degree from the University of London. His work has been created for the Gothenburg Opera Ballet, Madrid's Teatro Real, and Sadler's Wells. His dance film 4 won 17 international awards.
